Business Agility Program

BTM allows organizations to apply a rigorous approach to the identification and selection of the most appropriate strategic positions for a company, starting with an improved ability to manage business technology’s contribution to the development of a particular position. It also enables more effective planning and execution of the initiatives needed to achieve such a each position, and supports the creation of a more flexible enterprise architecture, which allows greater control over changes. By increasing its BTM maturity level in this area, a company will be best able to identify the right level of agility needed to maximize business results, and to create a strategy to realize that position, which also supports the overall enterprise business strategy.

BTM aids in readying the enterprise to accept and capitalize on the opportunities that a well-designed strategic position brings. Moreover, BTM guides the creation of a continuous feedback loop that links the development of a strategic position, with the initiatives required to achieve it, with the creation of an enterprise business strategy. BTM also guides the development and collection of performance metrics for each initiative to ensure that the expected business benefits and actual work effort for each initiative remain on-track and produce the expected outcomes.

The BTM Business Agility Program is implemented through the creation of specific Deliverables based on the BTM Framework, accelerated through the use of BTM Software Applications, driven by the BTM Concept to Value approach and BTM Expert resources.
