Management Playbooks Contain Advancement Roadmaps, Designs, and Specifications for Performance Improvement
BTM Fusion 360™ software platform enables a practitioner to design a targeted, staged maturity advancement that starts with current management practice and evolves towards convergence. The building blocks are the 17 business technology management capabilities, each of which is defined in the BTM Framework. Each capability is defined by a set of repeatable process definitions, designs for effective organizational structures, a comprehensive information architecture that describes the data and metrics each process requires, and designated automation points to support decision-making processes.
The BTM Framework defines the decisions, the bodies that make them, the decision process, the information required by each decision body and the technology and automation tools necessary to make collaborative business technology decisions.
BTM Fusion 360 now includes Management Playbooks, and Advancement Roadmaps with patterns and templates that describe the steps, guidelines, and value creation methods required to move an enterprise from its current state to a target future state in order to gain optimal financial return. Users gain the ability to create immediate, actionable plans that can improve their personal and organizational management skill sets; and as a result, can ultimately boost financial performance and operational efficiency of their enterprise.
The pre-packaged patterns and templates include roadmaps for Business Agility, Sustained Innovation, and Operational Excellence, Business Technology Service Management, Program Management, and others. These roadmaps were created using confirmed best practices, and are supported by the findings of ongoing research. Originally revealed in the Business Technology Convergence Index, this research series continues to identify the financial gains that result from implementing the respective steps of each roadmap. This series includes the BTM Business Agility Index, BTM Sustained Innovation Index, and BTM Operational Excellence Index.
