BTM Works 360 v6.0 Product Cut Sheet
BTM Works 360™ automates the management capabilities and their collaborative business technology decisions as defined in the BTM Framework. Every decision is associated with a decision body responsible for making the decision, and a set of support bodies that are responsible for assembling and presenting the necessary – as defined by BTM Maturity level – information, analytics, and models.
To support collaborative decision-making, a range of communications alternatives is provided for all trusted relationships in the extended enterprise environment, including message boards, instant messaging (IM), e-mail, and meeting scheduling. It allows individuals to easily interact with others in different locations or time zones, share common information, and provide a transparent and open environment that drives business technology convergence.
Decisions can be viewed from the perspective of the individual, decision body, capability, or the decision object (examples are an investment, program, policy, strategy, or model). The status of each decision is available as it traverses the networked governance model – which defines the relationship of the core BTM decision bodies and their associated support bodies.
The following is an example of decision status mechanism and states that are packaged with BTM Works 360; these can be tailored as necessary to adapt to the current management conventions and practices currently in use.
